Carved in a long, triangular form reminiscent of both a ritual blade and a celestial pointer, The Prism of the Silent Witnessappears to be an object of observation rather than action. At its center rests a bifurcated face—half human, half other—its asymmetrical eyes set with small stones that suggest awareness rather than sight. Above it, a single circular gem crowns the apex, aligned like a distant star or a watching sun.

Faint engravings spread across the surface: winged beings in motion, elongated figures in states of offering or ascent, and schematic paths that resemble both veins and constellations. These figures are not dominant but subdued, as if meant to be perceived only after long contemplation. The triangular geometry draws the gaze inward, funneling attention toward the central face, reinforcing the sense that this object mediates between observer and observed.

The material bears intentional darkening and age-like patina, giving the impression that the tablet has absorbed time, smoke, or ritual contact. Rather than telling a single story, it functions as a witness artifact—an object believed to record presence, intention, or passage between realms. In tradition, such prisms were said to be placed upright during ceremonies, allowing the Silent Witness to “remember” what unfolded, long after voices and bodies were gone.
